Hiring an Associate in NYC

We're an early-stage venture firm backing the most ambitious founders building companies that reshape industries. Our focus is on sourcing overlooked opportunities early and helping founders build with conviction and momentum.

Who We're Looking For

This role will engage across all functions of the firm as a full stack investor! This is a high-context, high-agency role: you'll be on the front lines of identifying potential founders, building thesis-driven relationships, and shaping how we go to market as a firm.

This is not a passive, spreadsheet-heavy role. You'll thrive here if you're a natural connector, intellectually competitive, and energized by chasing great people and ideas.

Traits That Tend to Thrive Here

  • Innate curiosity. You're the person friends go to for "what's interesting" in tech. You're naturally curious, commercially minded, and pick up on pattern breaks early.
  • Operator intuition. You've shipped products, brought something to market, or worked closely with founders — whether in product, venture, GTM, engineering, etc.
  • Social gravity. You have a strong, informal network — built through school, work, or community — that founders and operators actually want to join.
  • Field-forward. You like being in motion — helping host founder dinners, building relationships 1:1, making intros that matter.

Example Backgrounds (not requirements)

  • You were a product manager, business oriented engineer, or early growth hire at an AI startup.
  • You did a stint in consulting, PE, or an accelerator and got obsessed with early stage venture.
  • You've run founder community dinners, scouted for a fund, or published your own thoughts.

What You'll Do

  • Sourcing. Build and execute creative outbound campaigns to surface exceptional founders early.
  • Thesis development. Collaborate on spaces we're excited about, help craft POVs, and engage early builders.
  • Founder engagement. Be a first call + sounding board to founders and potential founders.
  • Network mapping. Help the firm build further connectivity into talent-rich communities.

You'll Stand Out If...

  • You've taken initiative to get close to venture already — scouting, angel investing, working at a startup, etc.
  • You move fast, think clearly, and love people with ambition.
  • You know how to "get context loaded" without being handheld.
  • You believe the best investing is a mix of rigor, taste, and common business sense.
